More sushi! We were so pleased with the Fantasy Roll that we had a couple of days ago, that we wanted more! So, let’s try the Fire Roll.
However, we did deviate a little bit… We asked for some kimchi ponzu sauce on the side.
The tuna was definitely a deeper red today and tasted “meatier” too.
The tempura shrimp tails are hanging out in little romaine lettuce beach huts
and there’s a nice crunch on the shrimp tails… yum!

the addition of romaine inside the roll was new to us
sushi at a bowling alley? YES!
When Splitsville first opened, we poo-poo-ed that they had sushi and burgers and salads and pizza. How the heck can they do all of that well? So far, we’ve been wrong…
The sushi is good
The salads are good
We still need to try the burgers and the pizzas (the rice bowls are not in the cards for us… too much starch spent on rice).
In the end, this is a good roll – but the Fantasy Roll is better.
