2013 Eat Each Sandwich Challenge – Earl of Sandwich – Chipotle Chicken Avocado

This is the eleventh installment of Eat Each Sandwich Challenge (#2013eateachsandwich)

Today’s sandwich was back on plan, we walked 3 miles to Downtown Disney – and proceeded to walk all over Disney World – managed 15 miles for the day. That was a good thing because the next installment of Eat Each Sandwich Challenge is the Tuna Melt – the highest calorie offering at Earl of Sandwich.

Today’s entry is the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Sandwich! Yum! Two of my favorite things – chipotle and avocado!

Mini Review

I really liked the chipotle sauce! I personally prefer it over the sauce on the Hawaiian BBQ sandwich. This has more spice and isn’t as sweet (although it does have a certain unexpected sweetness to it).

Always love Earl of Sandwich Bacon… the avocado adds a needed creaminess… the chicken seemed to have more black pepper on it than usual…

The lettuce was just sort of limpy there, in the future (outside of the #2013eateachsandwich challenge) I’d like to try it with coleslaw instead of lettuce

I found the cheese on the second half of the sandwich, it wasn’t noticeable at all on the first half… again, I think that the aged Swiss might be better than the cheddar (OMG – I’m not even a Swiss cheese fan but the aged Swiss from Earl of Sandwich is converting me!)

I would get this again. I’m not sure that coleslaw is available on sandwiches (and I’m not sure that if it’s available as a side that I like the way it’s made… picky picky picky). Perhaps with scrambled egg 🙂
