Spinach and Paneer Cheese Pocket

We had tasted this earlier in the Festival and had been impressed with it – we were with a large group that day and were quite hungry. So we decided to try it again and see if it really was good.

Basically, this is good cheap street food (if only more of the booths had good street food!). The pastry reminded us of the frozen burritos we used to eat in college (hey, we didn’t have much money and they were 25 cents). The filling is creamy due to the curry/sauce, it has a bit of a kick (yay!). We liked it the first time and the second time!

All in all, this is simply well executed AND it was served hot.

On our scale of 1-10 (1=never ever again and 10=gotta have this 2 or 3 more times) – nora gave it a 9 and nick gave it a 8, average score 8.5/10.
