White Corn Arepa with Mangalista Pork Rillette and Zellwood Sweet Corn Salad
The corn salad was better than expected, sweet and crisp. Nora liked the first few bites of the arepa, even though it was very greasy. Nick’s initial reaction was “yuck, salty.” As nora got a bigger bite of the pork filling she determined that it was incredibly salty. The dish has a lot of potential, but it wasn’t prepared well.
Our ranking scale, 1-10 (1=never ever again and 10=gotta have this 2 or 3 more times), nora gave it a 2 and nick gave it a 3; average was 2.5/10.
