A surprise for 2012. The Swan and Dolphin Resorts at Walt Disney World plussed their holiday theming for 2012! More extra WDW magic for us to share.
From day to night, any Christmas decorations will look different. That is especially true when you are in Florida and there are palm tress involved.
One surprise on the Swan and Dolphin Causeway for Christmas 2012, they made the palms dance to music. It is not Osbourne Lights, but it is a very nice effect and fun to watch…not that the daytime view is bad.
But at night, what a great Florida way to celebrate the holiday season!
But I never knew that Santa had a favorite resort, did you? Santa’s favorite resort is the Swan and Dolphin at Walt Disney World!
But when nora and I first toured the Swan and Dolphin resort this year, all we saw was a big packing crate… And it was padlocked so we couldn’t open it. 🙁
We wanted to see Santa at his favorite resort so we decided another visit was in order. Yay – Santa is way cool, who knew? He was even listening to Jimmy Buffet Christmas music!!!
Yet even though Santa was vacationing, he did make time to visit with his biggest fans. But you know, the future is so bright that even the little ones “gotta wear shades”. Or is that, “I wear my sunglasses at night so I can…”
Even though Santa’s reindeer were awaiting his return to the North Pole, Mrs. Claus had a display made of how the reindeer enjoyed their earlier vacation in Florida. Who knew reindeer could “hang hoof”?
Mrs. Claus was quite charming, a bit of a flirt even. Mrs. Claus told nora and I that even though Santa was on holiday she had to work. “You know”, she said, “I really run the show.” “I am so busy right now that I had to bring my assistant, Kandy Kane.” Wowsa, can Kandy Kane deliver my presents this Christmas? I promise I have been a very good boy!
Okay, maybe you had to see Kandy Kane in person or been at the lounge in bluezoo before you met her. 🙂 Kandy Kane gave nora two magic candy canes. These candy canes make you extra kissable for life. Okay, Kandy Kane admitted maybe it was only three minutes.
We are so excited to see how the Swan and Dolphin resorts have incorporated an adult, fun but kid friendly holiday display on their causeway. It is so good I think we’ll go back tonight, but we may not post what we do with Santa, Mrs. Claus and Kandy Kane! What happens at Santa’s Favorite Resort stays at Santa’s Favorite Resort! 😉
