Holiday 2012 at BouTiki in the Polynesian Resort

Yesterday, we shared some photos from the Polynesian Resort’s holiday decorations. I promised to show you where the Polynesian staff had the most fun with holiday decorations.

It seems the Tiki statues in BouTiki like to be decked out with greenery…

BouTiki had quite a few holiday decorations but I focused on the Tiki statues since they are so whimsical and fun.

When you look at the next Tiki statue photo, look over his left shoulder (this is upper right of the photo).

Do you see the Tiki in the background? If I have ever seen this before, I had completely forgotten. And I’m grinning now just thinking about “discovering” it. This is only related to holidays in the fact that the BouTiki staff seem to have fun and not just decorating Tikis for the holidays.

🙂

What fun! Almost as much fun as singing…

Mele Kalikimaka is the thing to say,
On a bright Hawaiian Christmas Day,
That’s the island greeting that we send to you
From the land where palm trees sway,
Here we know that Christmas will be green and bright,
The sun to shine by day and all the stars at night,
Mele Kalikimaka is Hawaii’s way
To say “Merry Christmas to you.”
